“AFTER THESIS: Still Education or Work?” – Finding Your Path After Graduation!
The big question every final-year student faces: “I’ve finished my thesis, now what?” Should I dive straight into a Master’s degree or jump headfirst into the professional world?
On April 9, 2026, at the SoA+D Gallery, the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), KMUTT, hosted an insightful session as part of the Seminar Carnival 2026 series titled: “AFTER THESIS: STILL EDUCATION OR WORK.”
The atmosphere was buzzing with inspiration as two guest speakers shared their contrasting yet invaluable perspectives:
- Thale Kangkhao: Representing the academic path, sharing deep insights into pursuing a Master’s degree.
- Sittichai Laotaweesup: Representing the professional path, offering a real-world look into the workforce.
The recent talk highlighted the honest experiences shared from seniors to juniors, analyzing the pros and cons of “upgrading knowledge” vs. “gaining on-the-job experience.” It was followed by a Q & A session, helping students unlock their potential and choose the direction that best fits their dreams.
