ARC231 Theory of Architecture and Interior Architecture by SP/N

What if architecture begins not by adding more, but by noticing what is already there?

Spatial Enough? invited us to look more carefully at the spaces we inhabit – to observe light, material, weather, movement, habits, and the quiet possibilities already present within everyday situations. Rather than asking only what design should create, the lecture asked an equally important question: what should remain open?

A very engaging and thought-provoking lecture and discussion for ARC231 Theory of Architecture and Interior Architecture by SP/N, structured around the ideas of Observe, Intervene, and Invite. The conversation explored how small and precise spatial interventions can reveal existing conditions, encourage new relationships, and leave room for people to appropriate space in their own ways.

Thank you SP/N for sharing your projects, ideas, and design approach with our students, and for such an engaging discussion.
