ASA Expo 26: International Forum

𝐀𝐒𝐀 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐀+𝐃 𝐊𝐌𝐔𝐓𝐓’𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬

KMUTT – King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), is honored to share that the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) – ASA International Forum of ASA Architect Expo 2026 has officially announced its distinguished global speakers.

KMUTT’s adjunct / visiting professors, 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗱𝗲𝗲, founders and acclaimed architects of the award-winning firm, Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS design and research, have been invited as distinguished speakers at the ASA International Forum. This recognition is under the leadership of SoA+D Dean Waraluk Pansuwan, together with Architecture Program Chairperson Kisnaphol Wattanawanyoo, and represents KMUTT’s SoA+D in both academic and professional practice pedagogy.

Professors Waraluk Pansuwan, Kisnaphol Wattanawanyoo, Jenchieh Hung, and Kulthida Songkittipakdee have contributed significantly to both architectural practice and social engagement. Their recent collaboration at Bangkok Design Week 2026 featured a zero-waste thematic pavilion, High Line Bangkok, located at Bangkok City Hall Square. In addition to their professional contributions to the field of architecture at SoA+D since 2020, they have demonstrated strong dedication to education through their roles as adjunct/visiting professors.

Dean Waraluk Pansuwan emphasized that as architecture evolves in a rapidly changing world, modernization is essential to address emerging technologies, environmental challenges, and shifting lifestyles. She highlighted the need to equip students with 21st-century skills, and at KMUTT’s SoA+D, this vision is reflected through outcome-based education, exemplified by professors Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee through their integration of international practice and social engagement.
