BIGFIELDS STUDENTS PRIZE 2025
Theme: “Memories of the Future”
Warm greetings from the Organizing Committee of the BIGFIELDS STUDENTS PRIZE 2025. We are delighted to invite the students of your university to participate in this year’s international student design competition. The BIGFIELDS STUDENTS PRIZE is an annual platform that encourages young creatives in architecture, urbanism, and landscape design to explore innovative and experimental ideas beyond site or program constraints. The 2025 competition invites submissions in one of the following three categories:
Architecture: Proposals that connect memory and place
Urban: Speculative frameworks for future collective memory in urban contexts
Landscape: Imaginative interpretations of time and memory through landscape
■ Theme
“Memories of the Future”
We understand the world through memory. But as we face unprecedented global change—climate crisis, technological shifts, and urban transformation—we must ask:
“What will the people of the future remember?”
This competition invites students to imagine and represent “memories that have not yet happened,” through space and design.
