Congratulations to SoA+D Students on Winning Design Awards!
We’re proud to announce that students from the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D) have been recognized with top awards for their outstanding work in the elective course “Creative Solutions for Circulatory Awareness,” supported by Covestro Thailand.
This unique course challenged students to confront the pressing issue of plastic waste, not as a problem—but as an opportunity. Through lectures, hands-on workshops, and a design competition, students across disciplines reimagined plastic as a resource for innovation, storytelling, and sustainable design.
From exploring the history and environmental impact of plastics, to proposing circular strategies for reuse, recycling, and awareness campaigns, students created:
- Experimental products
- Artistic interventions
- Thought-provoking solutions
The initiative emphasized critical thinking, teamwork, and sustainability, empowering the next generation of designers to make meaningful change.
