King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and DeTao Masters Academy (China) opened the Academic Collaboration Center which will be based at KMUTT Knowledge Exchange Innovation Center (KX Building) as a means of building academic cooperation and knowledge-sharing in the fields of architecture and design.
Held on the 3rd of December 2018 at KMUTT Knowledge Exchange Innovation Center (KX Building), the kick-off ceremony was graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sakarindr Bhumiratana (KMUTT President) along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang (Vice President for Internationalization and International Affairs Office), Mr. Michael Paripol Tangtrongchit (SoA+D Dean), Mr. Pronyos Chattarakul (Chairperson of Industrial Design program), some instructors from Industrial Design program and executive committee representing DeTao Masters Academy composed of Ms. Lansi Jiang (Director of DeTao Masters Academy), Ms. Dongmei Sun (Director of Academic Department), and Mr. Aaron Qian (Representative of International Cooperation).
During the ceremony, DeTao-KMUTT Center was formalized to establish technical cooperation of faculty members of KMUTT and DeTao Masters Academy, promote industrial business cooperation, encourage mobility of students and instructors, and develop new knowledge and teaching.
