Highlights from the International Architecture and Urban Design Workshop 2025, held in Bangkok from September 8–11, focusing on innovative approaches to canal systems and sustainable urban design.

Thank you to all participants from Thailand and India who joined the workshop, co-hosted by KMUTT School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D) and KMEA College of Architecture (KCOA).

Over four days, faculty and participants explored the theme:
“Exploring Canal Systems and Waterways in Bangkok and Kochi: Similarities, Issues, and Potentials.”

Through lectures, fieldwork, and collaborative design, the workshop sparked critical dialogue on urban resilience, water management, and design innovation.

Special thanks to our guest speakers:
Yossapon Boonsom (Shma Company Limited)
Dr. Kanjanee Budthimedhee (SoA+D, KMUTT)
Anjith Augustine (KCOA)

The event concluded with a public final presentation at SoA+D, Bang Khun Thian campus.
