ID students win 2 prizes in KMUTNB INNOVATION AWARDS 2020

Congratulations to Mr. Chanothai  Wangmontree, Ms. Varisara  Mukdasanit and Ms.Phurida Lanumthieng. Industrial Design students won 2 prizes in KMUTNB INNOVATION AWARDS 2020 with their work entitled “PAnavi”, gaining First Prize in Innovative Idea category and Special Prize from Provincial Electricity Authority Thailand.

PAnavi is a mobile application, an interface combining health and tourism. The students created a new authentic design for health and wellness tourism suitable for modern travelers.

Its design is based on game mechanics by which the user bikes and collects “physical activity” (PA). As the user navigates inside the local area, PAnavi system will give notification about the “PA challenge” with an additional information about the activity. Thus, the user can collect points during the journey and use the “PA scores” to claim the PAnavi rewards or directly donate to the community. Furthermore, in cooperation with Thai health promotion foundation (สำนักงานกองทุนสนับสนุนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ สสส.), the design competition aimed to promote PA (physical activity) inside the local community.
