Project 1: Homelife Mapping
Instructors: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuttinee Karnchanaporn and Asst. Prof. Chanida Lumthaweepaisal

In the “Homelife Mapping” project, students investigate their concept of home – the complex layers of personal subjectivity and cultural ideal. To formulate a better understanding of contemporary living culture, students survey, measure, and give dimension to their own lived environments. By analyzing whether these spatial experiences are physical, emotional, or both, students construct a communicable understanding of spatiality and summarize the realities of their homelife.

The outcomes include Homelife Photo Essays, drawings, diagrams, and mappings that capture the static conditions, movement, and/or transitions of the place they call home.
