INA141: From Village to Voyage: Final Presentation

From Village to Voyage: Final Presentation

On May 1st, 2025, first-year Interior Architectural students from INA141 Interior Architectural Design subject presented their final design outcomes to two distinguished guests: Dr. Norachat Songwandee, researcher from the Royal Project Foundation and King’s Recommended Project Supporting Center, and Mr. Brad Cheunsomsong, interior designer, lecturer, and chef.

Throughout this semester, students worked in five groups, each selecting a province to research and design a kiosk for showcasing local souvenirs. This project emphasized not only design skills from conceptualization to construction but also interdisciplinary collaboration. Students worked alongside peers from Communication Design and Chiba University, Japan, who contributed to branding and logo development.

The outcome of this co-class initiative is the creation of five innovative kiosks that integrate interior architecture with graphic design to support local products and community identity.

These kiosks will be showcased at The Luenrit, Yaowarat, Bangkok in October 2025. Stay tuned!! for the exhibition that demonstrates how design education empowers local development and cultural promotion.
