INA242 Final Jury – Reinventing (Sub)Urban Domesticity

INA242 Final Jury – Reinventing (Sub)Urban Domesticity

On Monday, 20th May 2025, our 2nd year Interior Architecture students presented their final design for the project “(Sub)Urban Domesticity for Future Well-Being /// Reinventing

Homelife in Housing Estates” as part of the INA242 Interior Architectural Design II studio, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuttinee Karnchanaporn and Asst. Prof. Chanida Lumthaweepaisal.

This collaboration with Teerin Group challenged students to explore innovative residential solutions using the Teerin Tham Talingchan Housing Estate as a site. Drawing from real-world constraints and opportunities, students reimagined domestic spaces to better respond to the evolving needs of contemporary suburban living.

Our three guest jurors, all proud alumni of SoA+D:

Fernfern – Ms. Chanakarn Pitakteeratum
(Teerin Group, Architecture Alumnus)

Ploy – Ms. Harisadhi Leelayuwapan
(Co-founder of PHTAA, Interior Architecture Alumnus)

Poom – Mr. Bhoomchaya Prakongpetch
(Architect at BTA, Adjunct Lecturer at SoA+D, Interior Architecture Alumnus)

Their professional insights and constructive feedback provided invaluable learning opportunities for the students. A big thank you to our jurors and Teerin Group.

Congratulations to all students for their thoughtful, future-oriented designs!
