Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee from HAS Design and Research give a lecture series titled “Conversations with Asian Nature” to second- to fourth-year interior architecture students and instructors at SoA+D KMUTT on Friday, November 8, 2024. They discussed the main concepts of their most recent four projects’ research and design development processes. Their area of study begins with an examination of the local knowledge and features of Asian urban growth in a number of Asian metropolitan centers, ranging from Bangkok, Singapore, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and to other Chinese cities. In their four projects that they shared with our students, the relationship between the natural landscape and the built environment was smoothly recognized during the conceptual and design development process; further details are available at the website below.

Q&A session  provide opportunity for several second- to fourth-year students expressed interest in the research and design development process from HAS, which was very well managed to integrate their research and core knowledge to create a project that can respond to clients’ requirements and their research that responds in part to architectural theory, during the highly motivating Q&A sessions that HAS provided for students after the lecture.

International architects and designers frequently give motivational lectures to our INA and SoA+D students, sharing their behind-the-scenes work and personal experiences to academic fields at SoA+D.
