KMUTT launches “MIDI”, a new platform designed to produce a new generation of entrepreneurs to meet the global market’s needs

The School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D) organized the MIDI Launch event in collaboration with the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), and Techbite (Knowledge Exchange – KX) to introduce a new program: Bachelor of Science Program in Multiple Intelligences for Design Integration (MIDI). It was held on March 26, 2022, at the Knowledge Xchange for Innovation Center, Room X04AB, 10th Floor (KX Building). The opening ceremony was graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charoenchai Khompatraporn (Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Graduate School of Management and Innovation), Asst. Prof. Dr. Supachai Vongbunyong (Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Institute of Field Robotics), and Mr. Michael Paripol Tangtrongchit (Dean, School of Architecture and Design) with a welcoming speech to introduce the background and cooperation in the MIDI program.

The MIDI Program, MIDI Way, and MIDI’s ecosystem were introduced so that the students could learn more about the program and networks of cooperation in various fields. In addition, invited guests included Mr. Kantasom Noppawong Na Ayudhaya (Hospitality Consultant “Siam Hotel Maker’), Ms. Thannapat Kingsuwan (CEO from the international craft industry, “Thorr”), Mr. Chokchai Pengyasa (R & D Manager) and Mr. Podsawat Worakuldumrongdej (Robot and Automation Manager (Team3) “ANT Robotics”), and Mr. Kittithat Kaokhum (“CMO & CEO, KITCHEN The Series”) who altogether shared their entrepreneurial experiences. Following the talks, students were divided into groups for a special workshop on Personal Branding Canvas which was given by Mr. Matas Danielevicius (Techbite Incubation Program).

“MIDI” is a new learning platform that has been developed to meet the needs of the new generation of learners. “MIDI” – NOT A BUSINESS DEGREE, BUT A BUSINESS WITH A DEGREE IN 4 YEARS (or LESS). The program is designed to help students develop their business skills based on their interests. At MIDI, students will learn how to launch a business by integrating technology, business, and design under the guidance of experts from the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO), Graduate School of Management and Innovation (GMI), and Techbite (Knowledge Exchange – KX), as well as a team of business experts with extensive experience in nurturing successful entrepreneurs. Students are guided in their preparation to become true entrepreneurs with a local and global network. They will also be able to pitch their ideas to relevant business ventures in order to secure funding for their projects.

The MIDI program is currently accepting applications for Academic Year 2022 Intake. Interested applicants can reach out to us for more information or speak with our staff at 095-103-7007, LINE OA: @midi-kmutt, or by clicking the link: https://lin.ee/KS7h3fn .
