KMUTT’s SoA+D Empowers 20 Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Through 5-Month Local Business Course

The School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), successfully completed a 5-month vocational training program supporting 20 independent entrepreneurs with disabilities from Bangkhunthian and Kratumban communities.

Supported by the Fund for the Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life for People with Disabilities, the program focused on entrepreneurship, branding, product development, marketing, and local business management through the “KMUTT training and internship model.”

Participants proudly launched their products under the brand “Klong & Co.” featuring locally inspired products made from saltwort, mangrove apples, and upcycled plastic materials

The final showcase brought together government agencies and KMUTT partners, where participants presented their products as potential corporate souvenirs and gifts — promoting sustainable community businesses and inclusive opportunities for all.
