MIDI’s Service Design Bootcamp

Over two weekends in December and November, MIDI entrepreneurship spaces were filled with discussions, ideas and laughter as part of the Service Design Bootcamp. The bootcamp started with a series of lectures followed by a practical workshop and a presentation. Over 4 days, the participants learned what service design is and then worked together on a project about improving student lives at KMUTT. The instructor’s role over the workshop was to navigate the team members and encourage the flow of ideas to happen naturally, instead of providing input while the student team select a facilitator and a sub-facilitator, who are in charge of leading the team—which is an important learning opportunity in itself while working with a team. Overall, the bootcamp was conducted with a great success ending with a presentation, and insightful questions and comments from the dean and professors of SoA+D, and the professionals from FOURDIGIT team, including the COO, who flew in on the final day from across Asia.

SoA+D would like to express our gratitude to the FOURDIGIT Inc. team for organizing a fantastic workshop, and the participants for your active participation, fresh ideas and curious minds.
