Kick Start! Mobility Workshop: In/Exterior – Interiorizing Urban Situations
A dynamic collaboration between Taylor’s College x King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, 30 July – 3 August 2025, hosted by the Interior Architecture Program, SoA+D, KMUTT.
Today kicked off with a workshop briefing, followed by an inspiring urban exploration through Bangkok – a hands-on journey to experience and analyze interior and exterior transitions in the city.
9 students from Taylor’s College Interior Diploma and 9 students from SoA+D Interior Architecture program are taking part in this immersive workshop.
Today’s visit included:
– The newly renovated Asia Hotel lobby
– GalileOasis Art Space
– The Jim Thompson Art Center and Museum, featuring a special exhibition
What a productive and eye-opening start to this cross-cultural design experience.
