MUIDS Architecture Field Trip
On 22 January 2025, Mahidol University International Demonstration School (MUIDS), led by the Design, Visual & Performing Arts Department, organized an Architecture Field Trip for Grade 10 Architect and Communication Arts elective students at the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
During the visit, students participated in a hands-on Product Design Workshop, using rattan to create a handcrafted lamp, gaining practical insights into the architectural and design process. The experience was further enriched by a guided tour of the school’s facilities, including 3D printing studios and other advanced design laboratories
This inspiring field trip supported experiential learning, creativity, and exploration of future pathways in architecture and design.
