“Bang Khun Thian: Past, Present, Future”
A study trip to explore the mangrove forest area, including a boat trip to observe community lifestyles and coastal changes, a bicycle ride to learn about mangrove vegetation and ecosystems, a fish keychain weaving activity adapted from fishermen’s fishing net weaving skills, and natural dyeing from dried mangrove leaves. A workshop on making mangrove shaved ice using edible mangrove plants was also held to learn, study, and design for the future of Bang Khun Thian.
