SoA+D Interior Architecture Students Participate in Academic Site Visit on Concert Hall Design and Building Systems, Mahidol University
The School of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), recently organized an academic site visit for 24 second-year students from the Interior Architecture Program, accompanied by Ms. Vimolrat Krisanakriangkrai
The visit was conducted as part of the subject INA 234: Interior Architectural Project Programming and Space Planning II, with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of large-scale public interior environments and complex building systems. The activity took place on Monday, 16 February 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Students explored key aspects of concert hall design, acoustics, auditorium seating, backstage areas, structural systems, and building services integration, gaining valuable real-world insights.
This experiential learning opportunity reflects the School’s commitment to integrating theoretical knowledge with real-world practice in interior architectural education.
