On 11 February 2020, School of Architecture and Design of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi together with Thonburi Remand Prison has signed a memorandum of cooperation in the areas of design, development and improvement of the Thonburi Remand Prison for physical conditions under the ‘Nelson Mandela Rules‘. Mr. Somphop Rujjanawet, Director of Thonburi Remand Prison, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chujit Treeratanapan Associate Dean for Research (representative of the Dean), along with faculty attended the ceremony. In this regard, Mr. Nattee Jitsawang, Special Advisor to Acting Deputy Executive Director of Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ), honored to participate in this ceremony.
