SoA+D KMUTT’s Adjunct/Visiting Professors Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee of HAS Design and Research Won Prestigious Award in Paris
Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee, the founders and acclaimed architects of HAS Design and Research, as well as adjunct/visiting professors at KMUTT – King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi’s School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), have been named winners of the prestigious 2025 Créateurs Design Award for Best Commercial and Cultural Project in Interior Design. This recognition was presented to Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS Design and Research in Paris, France, for their Simple Art Museum project, during KMUTT’s SoA+D 30th Anniversary celebration.
Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee were special guests and speakers at the SoA+D 30th Anniversary lecture. Although the award ceremony took place on the same date as the SoA+D 30th Anniversary, Jenchieh Hung and Kulthida Songkittipakdee attended the event to celebrate this significant milestone for the School of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, along with SoA+D’s Architecture Program Chairperson – Kisnaphol Wattanawanyoo, and SoA+D’s Dean – Waraluk Pansuwan.
The 2025 Créateurs Design Awards also go to globally renowned architects, such as the British architectural firm Norman Foster / Foster + Partners, which has received the Créateurs Design Award – Andrée Putman Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Japanese architectural firm Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa / SANAA, which has received the Créateurs Design Award – Le Prix Charlotte Perriand, as well as the Thai architectural firm Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS Design and Research, which has received the Créateurs Design Award – Best Commercial and Cultural Project in Interior Design.
