SoA+D organizes Semi-Retreat 2020: Fast Forward Together Recognizing the Achievers

Highlights of the event included Recognition of Meritorious Achievements, brainstorming and exchanging ideas about OBE, lab-based learning and accreditation

On December 5, 2020, the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D), KMUTT organized the “SoA + D Semi-Retreat 2020: Fast Forward Together Recognizing the Achievers” at Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kraiwood Kiattikomol, Advisor to King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, and former KMUTT President and dean of SoA+D, was invited to grace the event by giving his inspirational message. Also Ajarn Weeraphan Shinawatra (former dean of SoA+D) was present and congratulated our lecturers for achieving their academic titles. Eventually, a total of 22 lecturers were recognized (3 associate professors and 19 assistant professors). The recognition that went well in the morning would serve as an inspiration for those aspiring for academic titles in the future.

The whole afternoon was set for a talk modulated by Ajarn Michael Paripol Tangtrongchit, current dean of SoA+D, together with Ajarn Waraluk Pansuwan, Ajarn Nimit Mengveha and Ajarn Chujit Treerattanapan. They tackled the policies, strategies and future directions of the school. Later, in the afternoon, the lecturers in their respective programs, had in a meeting along with their program heads.
