SoA+D Welcome NTUT Delegation from Taiwan

On 22 April 2026, the School of Architecture and Design (SoA+D) warmly welcomed a delegation from the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taiwan, to the Bangkhunthian Campus for an academic exchange and collaboration meeting.

The visit began with the arrival of the NTUT delegation in the afternoon, followed by a warm welcome from Asst. Prof. Waraluk Pansuwan, Dean of SoA+D. The session continued with an introduction to the School by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Martin Schoch, Assistant to the Dean for Internationalization, highlighting SoA+Dโ€™s international vision and academic strengths.

The program featured presentations on SoA+Dโ€™s distinctive lab-based learning approach, led by Dr. Kanjanee Budthimedhee, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Service. Key research units, including Urban Senses, SEED (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuttinee Karnchanaporn), LRIC (Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanyaporn Bstieler), and S/C/I (Asst. Prof. Nanthana Boonla-or) were introduced to showcase the Schoolโ€™s interdisciplinary and research-driven environment.

In addition, Dr. Wisit Supangkaratana presented an overview of the Media Arts program, emphasizing innovation in media and technology. The NTUT delegation, headed by Prof. Yi-Hui Wang (Dean, College of Humanities and Social Sciences) also introduced their College of Humanities and Social Sciences, fostering mutual understanding of academic directions and potential areas of collaboration.

The highlight of the visit was a productive discussion session led by the Dean, where both institutions explored opportunities for academic cooperation, student exchange, and joint activities in the future.

The visit concluded with a campus tour and a group photo session, marking a meaningful step toward strengthening the partnership between KMUTT SoA+D and NTUT.
