China Education Expo and School visits were conducted in two cities in China, Chengdu and Guangzhou, on 22 – 27 October 2018 as a proactive recruitment activity to promote SoA+D’s international programs to Chinese students who would like to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in the Architecture and Design fields. China Education Expo 2018 organized by China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) was a successful event bringing in students from around the area as well as the parents.
In addition, Ms. Kamkan Supabanpot and Ms. Edna Aclan Abrao (SoA+D’s representatives who joined the fair) were able to meet the guidance counselors and prospective students at 6 local schools in Chengdu and Guangzhou, such as Guangya School at Luxehill International Community, Shude High school of Chengdu, QSI International School of Chengdu, Guangzhou Nanfang International School, Alcanta International College, and The British School of Guangzhou. The international education fair which has been held annually was attended by various universities across the globe.
