Visit to Sirikrai Industrial Co., Ltd.
On the 21st of October 2024, the SoA+D team, led by Asst. Prof. Waraluk Pansuwan, our current Dean, along with faculty members from the Interior Architecture program at KMUTT— Dr. Teera Dhanamun, Asst. Prof. Chanida Lumthaweepaisal, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuttinee Karnchanaporn, Ms. Nichamon Dejprasert, and Ms. Purima Noiim—was invited to visit Sirikrai Industrial Co., Ltd., one of the leading manufacturers and distributor of software and systems for furniture production. Mr. Annop Sirikrai, Executive Director, kindly gave an overview of Thailand’s furniture market and current trends on manufacturing technologies. To bring the potential of the local resources forward, the teams are collaborating to launch non-degree programs to up-skill and re-skill workforces in Thailand’s furniture industry.
