This August 22, Weekend University invites high school students into the world of interior architecture with Mood Board Design: Interior Architecture — a free half-day workshop exploring how great design begins not with a floor plan, but with a character.
Participants will select a character and describe them through adjectives — bold, serene, playful, refined — then learn to translate those traits into real design decisions: furniture, color palettes, textures, and materials that bring a personality into physical space. The session closes with each student assembling their choices into a complete interior design moodboard, alongside an introduction to the marketing and branding techniques used to pitch a designed concept.
The morning also includes a campus tour and open house at SoA+D, giving students a firsthand look at what studying architecture and design at KMUTT looks like.
Open to students interested in interior architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and all design-related programs — no prior design experience required.
