Our Hobby Series is back!
Woodwork Workshop: Take a Seat 2
This workshop is perfect for all age groups who want to get hands-on and craft their very own piece of furniture. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already familiar with woodworking, this experience will help you build confidence and learn new skills.
In this workshop, you’ll create your very own Japanese-inspired 3-legged wooden stool — a timeless piece that blends simplicity, balance, and craftsmanship. Not only will you take home a functional piece of furniture, but also a deeper appreciation for the art of traditional woodworking.
Over two days, you’ll:
– Discover the basics of woodworking tools and techniques
– Learn about wood properties and joinery
– Explore human-centered design and ergonomics
– Plan, cut, join, and finish your stool step by step
Woodworking is more than just making furniture — it’s a craft that combines problem-solving, patience, creativity, and design thinking. Join us for a fun, skill-building experience you won’t forget!
