School of Architecture and Design together with Sahmyook University, South Korea co-organized Urban Regeneration Workshop to learn design skills based on the urban regeneration concept and field trips to enhance learning experience and understanding of Thai architecture.
Mr. Michael Paripol Tangtrongchit (SoA+D’s Dean and project leader) along with Professor Ryu Byung Yeoi from Sahmyook University (South Korea) organized a-month long intensive workshop and field trips for Korean students and SoA+D students. It aimed to provide knowledge on urban regeneration and open their views on Thai architectural design, art and culture. This project was composed of workshop and field trips in many places, such as discovering and learning about communities in Kudeejeen and the Artist House at Klong Bang Luang, learning about city lifestyles in Bang Rak district. Also, the students visited Thai museum filled with Thai Arts & culture at Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, etc. It was held between 5 January – 6 February 2020.
