This exhibition is showcasing the result of the two architecture studios in the semester 1/2021, led by Asst.Prof. Kisnaphol Wattanawanyoo and Dr.Chamnarn Tirapas with 20 students altogether. Taking the future redevelopment of Hua Lamphong train station as the springboard, the two studios explore the possible development, impacts and changes that could be happening in the vicinities and the adjacent communities along Hua Lamphong. Asst.Prof. Kisnaphol Wattanawanyoo’s studio focus on the eastern side of Hua Lamphong and taking the Bangkok Mail Center Building as the main site for renovation and applying the concept of adaptive re-use. While Dr.Chamnarn Tirapas’s studio explore on the western side of Hua Lamphong and emphasize the new development of architecture and urbanism along the Phadung Krungkasem canal and the area of the 22nd July Roundabout (Wongwian Yeesibsong Karakada).
