Graduate degree

Visual Communication

Our MFA in Visual Communication is where making meets inquiry. We use creative-making to investigate, question and intervene in contemporary cultural and social realities. The programme supports practices that challenge commercial norms and develop new forms of creative and critical making. It is open to disciplines that produce visual experiences, including graphic design, industrial design, media art, photography, film, illustration, drawing and printmaking. Students work across and between these fields, using making as a method for research and reflection. Work is developed as social intervention and explores how visual practices can act in real contexts, shape discourse and produce change.
