CONGRATULATIONS!!!
The project, “The Faithful Light”, designed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chanyaporn Bstieler, head of LRIC (Lighting Research and Innovation Center, School of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi), was showcased during the 7th ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN Exhibition (between January 19 – 31, 2024) at the Art and Culture Center, Khon Kaen University. Eventually, “The Faithful Light” received the Outstanding Creative Achievement Award at the exhibition ‘s opening on January 19, 2024.
The design depicts the light of faith, a natural light from the skylight above that shines on the Buddha image at “9.99 hrs.” (formal time format: 10.39 hrs.) every December 5th at Sasiphawan Dhamma Practice Center. As a result, it was selected as one of the five outstanding creative works in the design and art categories by the Council of Deans of Architecture Schools of Thailand (CDAST)
